We are looking for a volunteer to work in a café workshop. Café Workshop IPI provides adults with intellectual disabilities a day and workplace in the café area. The café workshop started in the beginning of 2013. The Café Workshop offers a wide variety of jobs for people with intellectual disabilities who require different support and educational backgrounds, such as cash register work and desk cleaning. The aim of the café workshop is to find meaningful activities for each workshop that matches their skills. The Lyhdy Café Workshop is located in the premises of Ipi Kulmakuppila in Kallio and the Café Puhuri in Lauttasaari. The Preparation Team is based in Konala, Helsinki. Through working with people with intellectual disabilities, their involvement with the local community and society is increasing.
