Our kindergarten is a non-profit organisation run by the parents of the 14 children (aged 2 ½ to 6 years) attending. For several years now we offer the chance for international volunteers to get experience in alternative pedagogy based on the concepts of Wild and Montessori. We respect children as individuals and support them according to their individual needs while they are exploring and interacting with each other. As a volunteer you are invited to observe empathically and help, when needed. You can share cross-cultural inputs by telling stories, playing, cooking, singing and dancing together. We expect the volunteer to help the team in all daily routines and in creating a beautiful and healthy environment for the children to grow. This also includes activities like cleaning facilities, washing dishes or preparing food. You will get to know the children better every day. There are alway one or two teachers around to support you.
