The Belgian American Educational Foundation (BAEF) is the leading independent philanthropy in the support of exchanging university students, scientists, and scholars between the United States and Belgium. Through its Exchange Fellowship Program, the BAEF offers numerous fellowships for Belgian citizens for graduate study or research in the U.S. Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in the U.S. are outright non-renewable grants of $50,000 plus health insurance for postdoctoral fellows. Fellows are expected to stay in the U.S. for a period of 12 months. Post-doctoral applicants should have no more than 2 years of postdoctoral research experience (not including their years of clinical specialty training).
