Eligibility:
You're eligible if you:
- Identify as a woman or non-binary person
- Be enrolling as a domestic student at an Australian University.
- Be planning to undertake a STEM degree or higher degree to improve business acumen (Leadership category only), commencing in 2026.
Selection criteria:
The scholarship is available to those who plan to commence study in 2026. Applications for the 2026 Elevate program close at 9:00am (AEST) Monday 1 September 2025.
ATSE particularly encourages applications from individuals who:
- identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- identify as LGBTQIA+
- are from culturally or linguistically diverse backgrounds
- are from low socio-economic backgrounds
- are from regional, rural or remote areas
- are living with a disability.

About this scholarship:
In addition to providing financial support, the program aims to address gender inequities in STEM through fostering more women-led industry-academia collaborations, in applied research and business, growing professional skills of women in STEM and propelling women into leadership.
