Much effort is made to make the interview appear in front of the viewer or reader smoothly and naturally. This pre-interview effort is called planning for interviews. Al Jazeera Media Institute offers this free course, which is a comprehensive guide to dealing with guests and their choice, as well as the best techniques for preparing questions, identifying the information needed by the interview, as well as how to plan the interview, whether television interview or press. Journalist or product to do before the interview in terms of searching for information, analysis and identification of interview objectives. The course also discusses the choice of the guest, what the reasons for hosting it are, and what is the difference between choosing a guest from public figures or hosting private characters. The course requires simple journalism, a good Arabic language, and a computer. The course will be presented by Al-Jazeera news anchor Osman Ay Farah.
The course was QR 180 but is now available free of charge. The duration of the course is 4 weeks, two hours per week.
